I thought Indiana Jones too, and now a PP has mentioned, there is a similarity to Enola Holmes!

Iona is also a Welsh name and pronounced differently. More like Yonna.

I would assume that with the surname Jones you pronounce it the welsh way

Iona is also a Welsh name. Pronounced kind of like Yonna. That’s how I presumed it was pronounced when I saw it with Jones.

I think it’s the “Oh”sound in both is too matchy? I don’t know

I think it is the similar ‘ohn’ sound in both names. Could Iola work instead?
