I wouldn't choose Mikele. The Italian for Michael is Michele. Michelle is a girl's name. If you think there may be confusion with Michele and want an Italian boy's name, pick one you are happy with and think will work easily, don't butcher one.

Others a bit naff, Jordan etc. fine if you love but there are much nicer names out there

Alessio, Alessandro, Carmine, Matteo, Ettore, Alfio

There are nicer Italian boys names out there, without needing to change the spelling (which really dilutes the reason for choosing it imo). He'll forever explain "it's Italian", only to be met with "no it's not".

Jordan is ok at a push, likewise Morgan, although both feel dated to the late 90s/early 00s. I really dislike Logan though. So many people seem to shorten it to Logie, which rhymes with bogey and is therefore truly terrible.

Katie Price hasn't been known as the stage name Jordan for the past 20 years or so, so I really doubt that will be an issue.

I know lots of lovely little Jordans and the Katie Price link is getting weaker and weaker. She's just not going to be relevant in a few years, she never goes by that anymore anyway.

Jordan or Mikele

I think Mikele is lovely to honour your husbands heritage x

I like Mikele the best. Even though the pronunciation is a bit of a struggle!

I know it's unisex and I have known both sexes with the name but Morgan just really seems like a girls name to me.

Jordan also seems like more of a girls name to me as it makes me think of Katie Price but my 12 year old has a male Jordan in his year.

Logan seems very American.

Good luck!

What is it about Katie price and this name, is it considered a chavv name in the Uk?

Morgan is the perfect sweet spot name, not overused but still not too common. Easy to say and spell but unlikely he will be know as Morgan (surname letter).

Which name are you leaning towards OP? x

Jordan or Mikele

He'll be known as Morgan the Organ or Morg

Me- ke- leh it's italian for Michael

Do you or your partner have Italian heritage? If so I think that is the nicest option. The others are not to my taste

MyAmusedHelper · 07/02/2025 16:53

You are right, but we changed it because it would be michele which is a girls name

Out of your choices I would choose Logan

HugoYorway · 07/02/2025 16:22

But there's no K in Italian. The Italian form of Michael is Michele. @MyAmusedHelper

Mumofgirls2017 · 07/02/2025 16:15

none are my taste at all but I’d probably pick Morgan.

KayEmAy · 07/02/2025 16:11

I think Jordan is really underrated! I also like Logan a lot.

MissyB1 · 07/02/2025 15:33

Morgan is literally the only one I would consider.

Purplecatshopaholic · 07/02/2025 15:30

Sorry op, they are all terrible. Logan at a push.

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 07/02/2025 15:29

Logan is my favourite of your list.

Goandygo · 07/02/2025 15:16

I only like Morgan. And then, at a push.
I know a few female Morgans - same ilk as Chelsea, Lacy, etc.
Morgan's brothers were Samuel and Joseph.

Never heard of this but it sounds the best out of your choices.

Morgan and Jordan are a bit early 2000s. Logan is awful imo...
