31 weeks now and pretty set on a name but do have the odd fleeting doubt so keeping an open mind.

I was looking at DD1's class list today and wondered if anyone else would like to share some of the names from your older children's classes at school/nursery for possible inspiration.

In DD1's reception class (UK), we have:

GIRLS: Clara, Emme, Astrid, Elsie, Nancy, Tara, Flora, Robyn, Olive, Ava

BOYS: Freddie, Dougie, Alfie, Teddy, George, Charlie, Isaac, Ellis, Reuben, Oliver, James

Loving these responses, thank you everyone for sharing!

There's definitely a common theme isn't there with a lot of 'a' ending girls names and 'ie' ending boys names.....

Saying that though, I went to school in the 80's/90's and there were a lot of 'a' girls names then too - Sarah, Rebecca, Emma, Leona, Lisa, Victoria, Laura, Louisa, Gemma being just some I can remember from my year group etc
And 'ee' ending girls name as well.... Kerry, Jenny, Kimberley, Sophie, Marie, Katie, Emily, Lucy.....

Nearly every girl's name in my children's nursery classes ends with the 'a' sound, think Orla, Ayla, Ava, Olivia, Aliah, Freya, Lola, Lara. Some lovely names but I chose a non- 'a' name for my child for this reason!
Boys: Louis, Finn, George, Freddie, Toby, Oscar are some I can remember!
