Baby boy name beginning with M?

EzWin2 · 18/01/2025 17:06

Maddox James
Monroe James
Marlowe James

Brother to Ezra and Winter.

Looking for a baby boy name beginning with M. DH wants to share the same initials with this baby and I would like to find a name we both like. I personally think it’s a bit of a silly idea but I’m happy to go with it as I named both our other children. Maddox is currently his first choice, I’m leaning towards Monroe 💙. Suggestions are welcome but we like slightly unusual names. Thanks ☺️

Macauley - Mac for short. I prefer Maddox out of your list.

Macauley is nice, thank you ☺️

Ezra and Winter are lovely but sorry, I’m not keen on any of your current choices- they all sound a bit celeb kid to me. I suppose if pushed, then Monroe - but I very much associate it with Marilyn!

How about Maxim? Or maybe one of the less common variants of Matthew - like Mads (pronounced more like Mass), Matteo, Mathias?

Also agree with pp that Micah would work really well with your other kids names if that matters.

I’d probably go for Munro rather than Monroe, as the latter just makes me think of Marilyn Monroe.

Otherwise Maddox.

This.

Monroe I definitely think of as a feminine girls name.

I viewed Marlow but prefer it like that without the 'e', also don't mind Maddox

I have to be honest, your name choice aren’t really my taste but of the lot, I think I prefer Maddox. Malachi is nice, as a suggestion, if you’re interested!
