I know they're 2 completely different names but there're the 2 we've whittled it down to but just can't decide between them.

Joseph. A classic.

Theemperorsnewshoes · 16/01/2025 18:26

They are very different! Much prefer Joseph.

Raininginparadise2 · 16/01/2025 18:24

Definitely prefer Joseph

BoleynMemories13 · 16/01/2025 18:20

Joseph is classic, with nice nn options.

Bradley had it's moment here in the late 90s and early 00s (earlier in America). It feels very dated now. It was always the 'naughty boy' name when I was at school. I'm really not keen.

Joseph is understated but solid and handsome. Joe

Bradley doesn't have a relaxed appeal. It's harsh.

Dovecare · 16/01/2025 01:23

Joseph is streets ahead of Bradley.

Joseph is lovely. Every Bradley I’ve ever met has been a bully.

Hmmm the one I fell in love with isn't. But if you called him by his full name he might not like it! He thought it was a soppy name, the same as Ashley. Sorry.

Well I have a Bradley and I think it's a lovely name! We shorten it to Brad usually

I've got a Bradley too. Named before Brad Pitt became famous and the name became more popular.

Mikiamo · 16/01/2025 01:12

Joseph. Bradley has... Connotations.

CobraChicken · 16/01/2025 01:10

Definitely Joseph! It's a lovely name. I'm not a fan of the name Bradley, at all.

Seacatt · 16/01/2025 01:02

Joseph is one ot my favourite names.

Orphlids · 16/01/2025 00:36

Joseph is lovely. Every Bradley I’ve ever met has been a bully.

KezzaMucklowe · 15/01/2025 22:01

I'm.incredibly biased but another vote for Joseph.
Joey is a lovely nn but you also have Joebot and Joefish - they resent it a seems but love it when they're tiny.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 15/01/2025 22:00

Adding another Joseph.

MumonabikeE5 · 15/01/2025 21:58

Joseph.

canyouletthedogoutplease · 15/01/2025 21:56

Joseph. Without a shadow of doubt.

jmh740 · 15/01/2025 21:51

They will both get shortened what do you prefer jo/joey or Brad?

Eldermillenialyogi · 15/01/2025 21:50

Joseph was on my list.

Let's put it this way - I'm surprised you're choosing between Joseph and Bradley.

Whatwouldnanado · 15/01/2025 21:50

Another vote for Joseph. Bradley is awful.

Firsttimebabymummy · 15/01/2025 21:49

Joseph is lovely...not keen on Bradley.

2welshmums · 15/01/2025 21:45

Neither

Ketzele · 15/01/2025 21:42

Joseph!

HonestCrab · 15/01/2025 21:37

I personally like Bradley but it does seem a bit dated and down-market in comparison to Joseph. I believe Bradley was once popular in America in the 70s, 80s? Keep in mind he'll end up being Brad or Joe...

DottieMoon · 15/01/2025 21:32

Joseph defintely.

feelinggroggy · 15/01/2025 21:28

Well that seems unanimous, thanks for your help. I think I like Joseph better too.
