Greek baby names!

Greek/British baby 3 due imminently. Don’t know the sex. Please help with Greek name suggestions that work in the UK!

Older bro and sis have “proper” Greek names rather than English translations, eg. Alexandros rather than Alexander, so probably need to stick to this theme!

Boys names suggestions in particular are welcome - I am finding it easier to find girls names that we like.

Ideas so far:

Girl - Ismene, Nephele, Eleni, Eirini

Boy - Vasilios, Dimitrios, Petros, Kosmas

I'm loving this thread. I'm not Greek (sorry!) but enjoyed thinking of names- there are so many that are absolutely beautiful. It has cheered my day. Thank you, @Pinohoratio and best of luck choosing a glorious name for your darling LO-to-be.@

I really love Antonio nn Donny! Made the mistake of mentioning it to my (English) mum though. She hates it. Trying to work out if I just pretend that never happened. 😂

Just a note of caution, my autocorrect has been going crazy on this thread, I guess because so much English vocabulary has Greek roots. For the sake of your future DLO, it might be worth testing out what spell check will try to turn their chosen names into...

When you say "proper" Greek names, do you mean they are both Greek Orthodox saints' names for your first two?

Yes! I was going to say that they have the Greek spelling, but obviously they are anglicised in terms of the alphabet! But I mean Petros instead of Peter, for instance.

I know a Vasilios (goes by Vasili) - I think it is nice.
