These are our three front runners at the moment. Which do you prefer?

They are all lovely. I prefer Alice.

RuthW · 08/01/2025 15:54

Alice by a mile.

Nomoredamnmats · 08/01/2025 15:48

Lovely names that suit all ages. However, I would be careful about naming a child Grace if you are a family like mine : endomorphs with short, sturdy legs. She might grow up to be the exception though !
I feel the same about the name Willow.

Alice > Grace > Sophia, but if it was Sophie it would be Alice > Sophie > Grace.

This is my opinion too. The first time I heard of a baby Sophia I didn't really like it and it made me think of Sophia Gardens. It hasn't grown on me, and I prefer it as Soph-eye-a.

Alice > Grace > Sophia, but if it was Sophie it would be Alice > Sophie > Grace.

Sophia and Grace

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 07/01/2025 21:37

Grace best

HugoYorway · 07/01/2025 18:47

Sophia/Sofia - overused to the point of being boring. Prefer Sophie.
Alice - I'd be willing to use it.
Grace - nice meaning, but not a favourite.

Elsraspberry · 07/01/2025 14:38

Grace

Definitely less common than Sophia, and a prettier name than Alice in my opinion!

Waterboatlass · 07/01/2025 14:37

Alice- classy. Despite the living next door to association.

Comedycook · 07/01/2025 14:37

Sophia

But agree with a pp that they're all over used

sel2223 · 07/01/2025 14:36

All classic and timeless names.

Wrongsideofpennines · 07/01/2025 13:37

I love Grace. It wouldn't have gone well with our surname otherwise it would have been top of my list. I literally don't know any other Grace's below the age of 25 around here.

I know multiple Sophia's but I think its such a lovely name so that why people choose it.

Alice - unfortunately I just think of the song Living Next Door to Alice and that line comes to mind as soon as I hear the name.

kiraric · 07/01/2025 13:36

Alice - classic
Sophia - fine
Grace - prissy

shoopshoopdedoo · 07/01/2025 13:32

Alice is probably my favourite girls name!

Sophia - I prefer Sophie
Grace - nice enough but I’d never use it as it’s unlikely my child would be very graceful!

SunshineAndFizz · 07/01/2025 13:04

Oh I love them all.

Alice was our top choice for a girl, other two were already used by close family.

TallulahBetty · 07/01/2025 11:57

Sophia/Sofia - lovely
Alice - wet
Grace - lovely

Agree, I don't like Alice

Plantingtimes · 07/01/2025 12:40

Alice!
Lots of Sophia’s and Grace’s around. Alice feels the most timeless to me. I know Alice’s of all ages and I don’t think it’s ever been as popular as the others.

cheapskatemum · 07/01/2025 12:36

These are the names of my friend's 3 DDs, I love them all! I had 4 DSs, so never needed to use them myself.

Sophia/Sofia - lovely
Alice - wet
Grace - lovely

What do you mean by 'wet'?

Pigsinblankets13 · 07/01/2025 12:24

Sophia

Grace is sooo common and don't like Alice

PivotPivotmakingmargaritas · 07/01/2025 12:21

1 Grace
2 Alice
3 Sophia ( that and Sophie are too well used)

babybirdsmomma · 07/01/2025 12:17

Grace , it's timeless and suits the person whatever their age

Moreteaandchocolate · 07/01/2025 12:14

Alice!

MistyF · 07/01/2025 12:08

I like Alice the best
