wha do you think of bradley preston as a name

am due in sept and so far this is all dh and i could agree on

just wanting to know what people though of it really

If you don't want him having the same name as others then choose something not in this list!

i'm not scottish though and thought that bradley was an english name? never mind

not trying to be unique and different expatinscotland just trying not to use a name that four other kids in the class will have

but really, they're being stooopid and naff.

drives me round the twist.

my girls has Gaelic forenames. girl names.

this one will be no different: Muireann for a girl and Struan for a boy.

but when we tell Americans they seem to think names no Scottish person of sound mind would ever call their child are more 'Scottish'.

Another no here too. I personally don't like either name but that's by the by. However I also just don't think they go that well together.

How many syllables is your surname and what does it start with?

Not keen on either, but Preston in particular. Preston is a place in the North-West or that twonk from 'Celebrity' Big Brother.

still, it's better than that 'bobby maison reid' name the other day.

if that's not a hick name, i don't know what is!

my BIL is a hick. he's a senior mechanical engineer, but at heart he's a hick and he's the first to admit it.

and his God-given name is 'larry jo'.

it's just i never thought i'd see a think like that cross the pond.
