wha do you think of bradley preston as a name

am due in sept and so far this is all dh and i could agree on

just wanting to know what people though of it really

May I suggest "Edward Simon", sounds kind of similar and I truly doubt there is a child with this name who has an ASBO.

I think it was unwise to canvess opinion when you were already set in your decision. I wouldn't ask for anyones thoughts on my two dcs names because I'm sure they'd be plently of negative comments.

I personally wouldn't have chosen to name my dcs any of my suggestions, I too prefered first lot, though I do quite like Dylan. I was trying to give a different feel with the second lot, a bit more unusual less traditional English iyswim.

Am going again, though less huffy, just slightly disappointed that mustsleep didn't even notice my suggestions

I hate it. It is awful and makes me think of thick chavs and parents who can barely read.

Slur didnt like your last lot of names, but hey diferent strokes and all that, call him whatever name you like, and dont worry about what anyone else thinks.

I didnt when i named ds2, people (even though i didnt ask for their opinions ) didnt like it and kept on suggesting alternatives, i just smiled and said no thanks, i have picked the name that i like and im sticking with it

mustsleep, have a sleep, and a re think. I think everyone has made their point about the name, but don't take it personally.

I liked the suggestion of James Preston.

i'm not being precious !!

am pregnant slightly well very hormonal and it's not the fact that you do not like the name it's the fact that it has taken us four months to just agree on that one name (which no one likes) i have been slagged off by two people who i do not know and who do not know me, called a chav and then made fun of

Anyway Bradley isn't that bad. You lot are just in the mood for slagging anything for the craic!
Mustsleep if you like it, that's what matters.
I think it's a good idea to have a couple of names in mind because sometimes when the baby arrives you get a better feel of the right name for him or her.

Mine Jew, I believe it is mother's place to choose the name.I pretended to cosider dh's choices (Dion Teifi anyone?) but inside was saying
'Not on yer nelly mate' i had already chosen months ago.
