My sister's called her prem baby girls Gretta and Honor, and my baby is due in 12 days, we're calling him Kaeden.

The names arn't going to change or anything, we love them, I just wondered what people thought?

MrsBadger · 29/04/2008 10:01

I counted vests too

they were all handmedowns and I stacked them according to exact size ie not just newborn / 0-3 / 3-6 etc but measured each newborn one and put them in perfect order in the newborn pile, then the 0-3, then the 3-6s etc

of course within a week it was all a melée and dd wore whatever came out the drawer first

Ladi- Apparently she asked a lady (midwife) named Gretta if she liked her name and she said she was glad it was spelt with two T's as some people say 'greeta' for 'greta'... I don't know why though! They must be crazy people!

um

I like Honor

maybe when yours is born he'll look like an Edward? [hopeful]

mumblesmummy · 29/04/2008 09:46

hehe- you're right janitor. I'm just being nosey really, and I've got an hour to myself and I'm RIDICULOUSLY excited about my nieces and my nearly-here baby so wanted to talk about it with anyone and everyone

Thanks Dizzy- it is lovely that they'll be so close in age. Joint birthday parties etc

I like them all. I wouldn't have thought that I'd like gretta but I really do though I'd have spelt it with one t.

I think you may have problems with people misspelling all of those names.

dizzydixies · 29/04/2008 09:42

hi mumbles, the girls names are lovely - just perfect all things considering

I prefer Kaelan to Kaeden but still nice and how lovely they'll be so close in age even though they weren't meant to be
