Rory, for a girl?

I recently met some parents at the playground who had a daughter named Rory and now I'm really considering it. I know it's typically a boys name but I think it sounds really nice, and suited the young girl I met with the name. I also like it for the fact it's a 'boys name', because I think it will then suit our other children's names, since they're all boys. When we mentioned it to my SIL, she said it reminded her of Gilmore Girls, which isn't a bad thing, but do you think that's what people will always connect it with? I am starting to really like it, but don't know how it compared to some of our other top options, e.g. Lydia, Keira, Mia, Violet, Elodie.
Thanks in advance everyone x x ❤️

Hi everyone!! Thanks for all the feedback. It's pretty unanimous that you all hate this name for a girl, or just in general, or that you think it should just be a nickname 😂. All good feedback to take on board nonetheless. I will say though, that all of the 'full names' suggested are really not my cup of tea. I think Lorelei would make me really sound like Gilmore Girls fan, and I don't love the sound of Aurora. There were a couple of other options but they were quite different, and not my style. Thanks for everyone's advice and opinions though !! xx ❤️

I know a Rory, short for Aurora. I think it's lovely!

What about Robyn with Rory as a nick name? Its not too long of a name and I think Robyn is very feminine.
