Please share with me your favourite Scottish boys’ names

DH’s family are Welsh, mine are Scottish (although I was brought up in SE England). Our son is Elis (Welsh) and so I’m looking at Scottish names for baby boy number 2. Please share with me your favourites ☺️

Lachlan and Cameron are great.
I love Rory but only the English spelling.
I think Ruairi is the Irish Gaelic spelling @DaisyEM

I hear Finlay and Finley as two different pronunciations.

If you want to avoid “obvious” Gaelic names / dh etc then I’d agree with other posters and say Struan, Hamish, and Angus are all strong contenders and suit both little boys and grown men without being “of an era”.

Really? I'd pronounce them the same.

Have you met any Henry’s? Ive named my child Henry in Scotland. Worried about the Hen thing 🤦‍♀️

So Alexander, Angus, Fergus and Hamish.

Hamish is underused atm. It is lovely.

Aye, and loads of spellings on Rory that's why I just stuck on the simpler Rory, couldn't be arsed with spelling out the gaelic one!
