Do you realise that some types of juniper berries are poisonous?
It's a no from me.

I didn't know this

Mooburger · 27/10/2024 10:03

I love it. Pretty.

PublicEnemyNo2 · 27/10/2024 10:02

Awful. June is a much better name.

outofbattery · 27/10/2024 10:01

Not for me

reelcat · 27/10/2024 10:00

Love it!

It seems more like a puppies name, sorry.

spicedonion · 25/10/2024 22:18

If I was a teacher in a class and saw this name I would think it's pretty and unusual. If you like it use it

GiraffeTree · 25/10/2024 22:10

I like it.

Flor5 · 25/10/2024 22:08

I think it's sweet OP but avoid if you care about a name dating and being of a certain short period in time.

hereismydog · 25/10/2024 21:27

My cat is Juniper Grin Junie for short.

Courgettesandonions · 25/10/2024 16:15

I love it.

Leeloo1233 · 25/10/2024 15:49

I love it! Especially with nicknames June and Junie. But my friend who has Juniper says it's crazy how many people read Jupiter - something about our brain. But nor a problem with the nicknames!

Hmm. Honestly, it seems like one of South East London’s favourite middle-class-but-artsy names. It does sound quite nice and the toddlers I’ve met are cute. But I’d personally avoid it.

Agree with this. I think it’s very on trend right now.

brycequinny · 24/10/2024 12:27

Thanks all - I absolutely love it

I live in Australia and Juniper is a company that helps with weight loss treatment, so would be a no from me

KayEmAy · 23/10/2024 14:23

Love it!

urbanbuddha · 23/10/2024 14:04

indicates that mummy likes gin

Get over yourself. That’s tosh.

lottiegarbanzo · 23/10/2024 10:12

Mixed feelings. Pet's name, implication that mummy likes gin.

Also quite cute and would go well with names like Rowan and Sorrel.

Carouselfish · 23/10/2024 10:04

I like.it a lot. Not frilly. Cool kid. Similar feel to Scout, Indie etc.

Jollyjoy · 23/10/2024 08:57

I met a sweet little Juniper this year and her mum said she picked it because Juniper is a tree that can thrive in harsh conditions, I thought that was nice. I get the ‘middle class try hard’ vibes a little too but June and Juni are lovely shortening’s.

stormwarrierridesthewaves · 23/10/2024 08:54

I always had an idea in my head of naming a daughter Juniper Wren to honour a family name - Jennifer. (Wren being the middle name, not hyphenated).

The song Jennifer Juniper, and her nickname Jenny Wren.

MistyF · 23/10/2024 08:29

I like it very much but prefer Junia
