Half Greek baby boy due soon. Will likely grow up in London. Struggling for names!!

Nickname would be Dio (to rhyme with Leo).

If you're struggling to spell it correctly now, imagine the lifetime of 'and how are you spelling that?' from birth for life. Believe me, it's tiresome.

I really wouldn't. I suspect even those living in Greece would be hesitant to use it. If he's going to grow up in London I'd chose something that gave a nod to the greek side but doesn't stand out.

This is on point. That said if the surname is jones or smith it could ooze cool.

In my opinion, no. It sounds like an illness or condition. How about something more cross-cultural such as Alexander?
