I love them both. Have a Joe myself. JoJo when he was little was v cute. But I like the shortening Xan too.

Joseph sounds very religious to me.

I prefer Alexander, although there are A LOT of both male and female Alexes about!

I love both! Difficult choice! I think I’d choose Joseph as it’s less commonly used, but a good, solid classic.

Both lovely. Another biased towards Alexander as I have one.

But Joseph is a brilliant name, too, just never popped up for us.

I like both. I would probably choose Joseph because I prefer the Joseph nicknames.

Alexander is a sure winner for me..

Im biased as dd is Alexandra and would have been Alexander if a boy so it made it easy 🤣

Nothing wrong with Joseph though.. I like 'Joe' and 'Joey'
