Baby Julia needs a middle name ✨

Baby is due this week. We are 99% sure she will be Julia but have not decided on a middle name. My favorites are Jane and Rose. DH prefers Elizabeth or Claire. Does anyone have suggestions on or off the list? Last name begins with C and is 2 syllables. Thanks!

Apart from the fact that it's most other girls' middle name and utterly done to death!

Julia Eve, Julia Elizabeth etc aren't good because it becomes Julia Reeve, Julia Relizabeth when said quickly. Don't use an E name.

Julia Roberts is Julia Fiona. Not sure if I like the -a/-uh ending on both names so I'd prob avoid anything ending in a similar way to Julia.

I like Julia Claire I think. It's balances the three syllables nicely.

Every girl has Rose as a middle name it’s been done to death, along with Grace/May.

Claire and Elizabeth are nice.

Julia Jane for some reminds me of Amelia Jane - the naughty doll from the Enid Blyton books. That's probably just me being weird though 😅.

Julia Elizabeth feels like too much of a mouthful. The others are all nice, although I agree that Rose feels very like a filler middle name.

Julia Claire for me.

I don't like your choices, sorry. Rose is standard filler and Julia Jane sounds like a goody two shoes Enid Blyton character. I wouldn't blink someone announcing Julia Elizabeth, but there's nothing especially grabbing me about it either iykwim.

Best to avoid a middle name starting with a vowel so they run together more smoothly.
Middle names a pretty irrelevant really. Pick something you love separately or that has family meaning. Julia is a lovely name.

Before I read the suggestions I was going to suggest Rose.

It has been the default middle name for the past 15 years.

I'm really not afan of double initials so not Jane for me.... and Jane and Rose both at just two of the standard 'filler' middle names. Same with Grace or May or Louise!

I prefer your husbands choices.
