I suspect that is a joke but that is a woman I know's daughter's nickname. She's Annabelle (Babybel) and her sister Emily is "Millie Moo" 🙄

Isabel - English, Isabelle - French.
Annabel - English. There is no French name Annabelle.
People who spell this name with -belle as the ending are changing the traditional spelling.
Jezebel doesn't have the -belle ending either.
