What name do you prefer out of these 3 please! Me and my husband cannot agree on any girl names:

Grace
Sadie
Edie

TIA 😊

My daughter is Sadie named after an Aunt. Like the others too though 🙂

Doyouknowdanieltiger · 09/09/2024 20:22

Grace

Completely biased as I have one. It is popular but more so with older children/teens.

There is one other Grace in dds class but she doesn't seem to mind 🤣

Sallyanne92 · 09/09/2024 20:19

Sadie!
Its our dogs name so annoyed I didnt keep it my daughter

Aglassaday · 09/09/2024 19:21

Grace as Sadie reminds me of sad

Campingholidays · 09/09/2024 19:04

I like Edie and Sadie equally (but know of a gorgeous little Edie so maybe more leaning that way!) Grace could work well as a lovely middle name as well if that option is open?

TightGlazedDonut · 09/09/2024 19:02

Grace of the three

VenusClapTrap · 09/09/2024 18:57

Grace, of those.

Love Edith though.

poetryandwine · 09/09/2024 18:52

Edit: pretty young girl, obviously

poetryandwine · 09/09/2024 18:51

PreggersWithBaby2 · 09/09/2024 18:37

I rank them 1. Sadie, 2. Edie and 3. Grace.

@poetryandwine I have difficulty imagining her as an attractive mature woman. weird comment. I know some people say some names are childish and don't transfer well to adulthood but rather strange to mention attractive and mature?

I meant that I can see her as a prettyvypung girl (of whatever ethnicity) and as a delightful granny (ditto). In between, unfortunately, for me Sadie does not have the same positive vibes as the other names.

I only offered the comment because OP is soliciting opinions

Nicebloomers · 09/09/2024 18:48

Sadie. I do like Edith though. Edith Grace is pretty.

Sadie

Mumofgirls2017 · 08/09/2024 22:03

Edie

sadie nice too

17caterpillars1mouse · 08/09/2024 21:37

I like Sadie best but I prefer it as a nn for Sarah which I think is lovely but so underused now

Grace is nice but very popular

Edie is cute but too informal for me. I like it as a nn for Meredith or Edith

I feel Sadie is a bit more substantial and cam work as a stand alone name

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 08/09/2024 21:25

Grace - popular but elegant and quite classic so a safe option
Edie - trendy but admittedly very cool (due to Sedgwick) and a nice sound
Sadie - not my cup of tea at all, trendy nn and not a nice sound

Rory17384949 · 08/09/2024 20:10

I like them all but would put in this order:

Edie
Grace
Sadie

MinervaMcGonagallsCat · 08/09/2024 18:40

Sadie

ButterAsADip · 08/09/2024 18:39

Sadie but I can’t get over the ‘sad’!

NewName24 · 08/09/2024 18:38

Sadie

Grace is one of those 'okay for someone else' names for me

Not at all keen on Edie.

KirstenBlest · 08/09/2024 18:32

Grace is IMO the nicest but it's too popular as a middle name.
Edie is too close to Evie.
Sadie seems a bit more unusual.

Mebebecat · 08/09/2024 18:26

Grace if you insist on them as is. Edith nn Edie would be far better though.

pilates · 08/09/2024 18:23

They are all lovely.
If I had to choose Sadie.

Comedycook · 08/09/2024 18:22

Definitely Sadie. One of my favourites

Grace is so popular and Edie is too much like Evie and a bit nothingy

Firsttimebabymummy · 08/09/2024 18:20

Moreteaandchocolate · 08/09/2024 16:43

Grace is my favourite - simple, pretty and classic. Sadie is nice too, and the one to pick if popularity is an issue. I love Edie as a nn but I’m not a huge fan of Edith or Eden unfortunately.

Agree with this xx

shoopshoopdedoo · 08/09/2024 18:07

I like them all, but don’t love any as a stand-out fave
