Can't decide on girls names

Hi :)

So our twins are due at the end of October and we just can't decide! Our boys names are set. For girls we we're almost decided but DH has a new name he loves. We have 4 names we're deciding between.

Eden
Emme (Also considering spelling Emmy/Emmie)

Nora
Cora

Obviously we can't use Nora/Cora or Eden/Emme together. DH wants to use Eden and Emme but I'm not sure about using the same initial. Middle names are family names, Noelle and James.

Thank you for any input!

How about the twin girls being ..

Jamima Carys - Mima, Jammi
Eden Noelle - Edie

KirstenBlest · 05/09/2024 08:00

Neither is gorgeous but they go together. Eden seems a bit too something IMO.
Can't put my name on it but something like 'new and naturey' and I think it will date badly. It also falls into the 'Evie type names' trend.

Cora is OK but does make me think Downton Abbey or Last of the Mohicans.
Alice and Cora go together well.

Eden and Cora are gorgeous together 🥰

Eden and something else.

Moreteaandchocolate · 04/09/2024 19:00

Eden and Nora or Cora

Or

Emma nn Emmy and Cora
Emilia and Coralie nn Emmy and Cora
Emilia and Leonora nn Emmy and Nora

shoopshoopdedoo · 04/09/2024 18:44

Emma and Nora

Nicebloomers · 04/09/2024 18:39

Another vote for Emma and Cora

Sandysandwich · 04/09/2024 18:12

I like Eden and Cora together the most
Nora is really nice too

With identical twins especially I would avoid the same initial- as they will have the same birthday, address, surname and face.
Same 1st inital just increases the chance of mixing them up even more with things like post and admin for schools, hospitals, clubs and competitions.
Especially automated services- our system at work, for example, uses surname and DOB and then for clarification uses address.

Nora and Emma

KirstenBlest · 04/09/2024 14:08

Emmy/Edie and Cora/Nora.

Emme looks wrong, Em is OK but would be short for something. I don't like Eden but Edie is quite nice. Prefer Cora to Nora but both are OK.

Emma and Cora is a better combination.

Notreat · 04/09/2024 14:08

I prefer Cora and Emma, or Emmaline I wouldn't use emme or Emmy.

anonhop · 04/09/2024 14:06

I really like Cora! Cora and...

Elsie
Lily
Megan
Posy
Jane
Molly

Emme sounds more like a nickname to me. I really like Nora and Cora but I don't think either of them go with Eden.
What if it's a girl / boy set or do you know they're identical?

Thank you for your reply! Yes they're identical
