Sister for Aurora

I recently posted trying to choose between my favourite 2 boys names (Xander & Xavier). Surprise, surprise, we're having a girl 😂😂 Back to the drawing board as we have no names for a girl!!

I like longer names that can be shortened for nicknames (DD Aurora goes by Rory). Aurora was dad's choice and I don't love it, but I adore Rory as a nickname. Some names we've toyed with are Penelope, Persephone, Felicity, Matilda.

Help please!!!

It sounds like it’s going to come down to what nn you like?

Felicity is usually Lissa, Issy or Flick
Persephone Percie or Seffy/Sephie
Matilda Tilda, Tilly or occasionally Mattie
Penelope, Penny or (quite often now) Nell

Of these I think Rory and Nell works best, Rory and Lissa

Maybe also

Alexandra / Alix, Sasha or Sandie
Roberta / Robin
Beatrice / Bea
Cassia / Cassie
Harriet or Henrietta / Etta
Caroline / Callie
Frances or Francesca / Franca or Frankie
Fenella / Nell
Selena / Lennie or Lena
Eleanor / Nell or Lena
Susannah / Sukey or Zanna
Ariadne / Ari
Theodora / Thea

Penelope- really like but is getting quite common (if that bothers you). Love the nns Pen, Penny

Persephone- much less common and I like it! Loads of nn potential

Felicity- I really like this but couldn't use. Sounds too frilly for me (personally) otherwise it's lovely. Sounds horsey for some reason which is why I liked it.

Matilda- I don't like this name.
