I love Eli! The only thing that slightly puts me off is that my daughter has a boy called Eli in her class and she says that he sometimes accidentally gets called Elllie by supply teachers reading the register wrong, and the nickname has stuck (secondary school banter!) I still like it though.

I know someone called Eli and this happens to him all the time!

I don't like either of them. If I had to choose, Milo. Eli is awful.

Miles or Elijah are better.

I've a lot of Australian family so for me Milo is a chocolate drink! In the UK most probably don't have that association though.

i don't see milo as a dog. I see it as the purple tweenies character. Eli is biblical isn't it?

They are both nice - but Eli and E names generally are very overdone so I’d go with Milo

Eli! My nephew is Elias so I love that option too, if you wanted a longer version for the birth certificate.

I remember the Tweenies - still love the name Milo, also quite like Bella and Jake! They're nice names. It's not like calling a child LaLa or Poe Grin
