ROFL at George III etc - does he think he's a long lost relative of the Queen or something? Daft bugger.

lulu25 · 17/04/2008 08:49

seeker · 17/04/2008 07:59

Lots of girls in Catholic countries are called Mary or Maria-something. and use the second name. So technically you could have a family of 6 girls all called Mary!

BellaBear · 17/04/2008 07:56

I knew twins called Joy and Jay

nappyaddict · 17/04/2008 07:54

is it michael? i think that's a bit different if it is cos they don't have the first letters don't make the same sound.

I went to school with a Shaney-Leigh. She got called Shaney, as nobody could be arsed with the double barrell first name.

Youcannotbeserious · 16/04/2008 22:39

I know a woman with two daughters - Charlotte and Scarlett.....

That's not as bad as the OP, though!!

shelleylou · 16/04/2008 22:38

thats me and my brother both start Mich and my younger brothe also starts with an M. Its never bothered me that my brother and i have very similar names we are both very different people

cyteen · 16/04/2008 22:37

I know there's a family in this town with at least three sons called Mohammed [different middle name] surname. Makes their medical records somewhat confusing.

bozza · 16/04/2008 22:35

It's like Enid Blyton where the twins were always called things like Harry and Harriet or like the grandparents in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

wornoutwaitress · 16/04/2008 21:14

having names with the same first letter is common i think. i could even fathom the same first two letters. but bloody 4!!

Milliways · 16/04/2008 21:14

I know of twins named Daniel & Danielle - and they have the same middle initial!

When discussing this with a friend, at a school where she worked were twins Hassan & Hussein (or similar sounding)..

Why!

BettySpaghetti · 16/04/2008 21:11

In my last job I came across a family where the siblings names all began with Sh -I can't remember the exact names but there were 4 of them called something like Shakira, Shannon, Shane and Shianna

QuintessentialShadows · 16/04/2008 21:11

constancereader · 16/04/2008 21:06

My sister claims she met someone on a bus whose dc were called Daniel and Danielle. She assumed that one was a step child, but this was not the case.

lol at Boy and NewBoy.

oliviaelanasmum · 16/04/2008 21:06

My friend was telling me all of his siblings including his sister have his name as a middle name. His mum was desperate to use it but her dh finally gave in when my friend was born!

stripeymama · 16/04/2008 21:04

I still maintain its not as bad as the traveller couple a friend met once, whose ds were called Boy and NewBoy.

Its pretty bad though...
