Cassie - yay or nay?

I have fallen in love with it as it is different (I don't know any Cassie's at all) but pretty.

What do you think?

Sorry ceebee74 what you call your daughter is totally up to you. I liked Lucy when I had my daughter but didn't call her that because of another neighbour's dog and wish I had.

Am thinking of just going straight for Cassie as I am not that keen on Cassandra (weird I know).

Dh says he likes it too which is unusual as he usually hates everything I suggest.

Right, just need to decide on a boys name now...........

Cassandra doesn't do much for me but I really like Cassie. It's a very cute name for a little girl but i can see it working for an adult as well

Its a surname. I went to school with boys whose second name was Cassie, so I can't get my head round it as a first name sorry.
I do think though if you go for it to name the child officially as Cassandra then she can have a choice later on if the Cassie bit seems little girl-ish.
Just had a thought that I hope her future husband isn't related to those boys Mrs Cassie Cassie
