Pip for a boy...

Probably just hormonal, but have been calling my bump Pipsqueak, as it'll be the last of four. If I get too attached to it (the name, not the baby, obviously!), what could it be shortened from other than Phillip?
Although on hearing my explanation for Pip, dd1 has sworn to call it Runt....

And did my question make sense, I'm looking for a 'proper' name that could be abbreviated TO Pip, noyt a nickname yhat could come FROM Pip.

There's a pip at DS's nursery.
I don't think it's short for anything as they would probably put the full name on his coat hook.

I think it's lovely.
But have you been listening to The Archers? That prompted a "pipsqueak" phase in me, against by better judgement.

Just call him Pip!

My godmother's daughter is called Pippa and unbelievably, she married a man called Pip...

Well, my dog's called Sprout, so I suppose I'd be following a trend!
