We have a James already - what are your thoughts on these options? We’re Scottish and like classical, elegant names.

Girls:

Mary
Harriet
Martha
Flora
Clara

Boys:

Edward
Alasdair
Adam

I like Harriet best followed by Flora for a girl. Edward or Alasdair for a boy.

I like them all. I think Edward is my favourite from your boys and love Flora and Martha - would have liked one of these for DD but DH not a fan. (I do love her name I hasten to add feels disloyal)

Mary- not my taste personally. Marie?
Harriet- like
Martha - also not my taste
Flora - makes me think of butter
Clara - I like but think is becoming rather popular

Boys:

Edward- love
Alasdair- not to my taste
Adam- love

We definitely have different taste although I love James!
