Matilda (Long time love but lots of people around me now used)
Seren (Pretty meaning)
Eloise (A baby I looked after, name has always stuck with me)
Rose (inspired from Titanic movie)
Phoebe (Biblical to go with brothers)
Juliet (Love from Gnomeo and Juliet!)
Delilah (Biblical to go with brothers)
Arabella (Always thought it was too long and over the top, but it's grown on me recently)
Violet (inspired from Titanic real life Violet Jessop)
Annie (Inspired from Titanic Book the girl who came home, based on the Addergoole 14)
Callie/Cali (Inspired from favourite runner)

We prefer names that are less likely to be shortened. Always loved Matilda, but a lot of people round me have now used. Always really liked Harper but I think it's too "trendy" to use.

Phoebe and Martha are great. I also like Elisheba - Moses's sister-in-law. Never come across IRL.

Elisheva is the Hebrew equivalent of Elizabeth.

I would go Biblical or at least classic. Hannah goes perfectly.

timoteigirl · 08/07/2024 21:37

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - Adam marries Dorcas.

Phoebe is lovely
I think Esther as suggested is great and unlikely to be shortened

Biblical vibes - don't suppose you like Tabitha or Dorcas? Never had a chance to use Dorcas but I know one and she's so cool so I love the name

Dorcas was my Grans name. I never knew it was a biblical name.

Rachel
