How popular is Leo where you are?

I know it's quite popular atm but I don't seem to meet that many. How many Leos do you know (especially children?)

It was one of my names, along with Tabitha. Boyfriend at the time told me to just get a cat. 🙄

Still love Leo, don’t know any in real life.

I know one who is 6, and it’s my ds’s middle name :). I love it! In terms of actual numbers, popular names are no where near as popular as they used to be, so I wouldn’t worry too much!

Two colleagues on mat/ pat leave with a Leo. South London and anything goes here so I think it is popular.

As you say, popularity varies from area to area.

I know of a few, but not lots (I'm a teacher, so know loads of children). It does seem to be more popular here than the similar sounding Theo though, which many on here report to be super popular where they are.

The most popular boys names around me right now are Noah, Oscar, Archie, Oliver, Teddy, Roman and Jude.

Ultimately, if you both love it that's all that matters. Who cares how many others there are?

It's been in the top 20 names for about 20 years, top 10 for about 8 years.

2 Leo’s both aged around 3. Both at opposite ends of the country too.

I know loads.
At least 2 in their mid 30s. DS has 3 in his year group and there is at least 1 in every other year group at his school currently.

I had a baby in July and there were 2 Leo’s on the same ward as me, I also know of one who is 76 although I’m sure he is a Leonard and Leo for short. I think it’s going it’s made a comeback this last year or two.

One in almost year group at school from the nursery class upwards. Lots of European families here and I think it’s so popular because it’s one of those names that works in multiple languages.

It was very popular here 10 years ago (as in every third boy was a Leo popular) but I think it burnt out from overuse and people moved on to other names. It's always a good name though.

I know one who is about 13 now and know/know of quite a few little ones (3 and under). I think it is very popular at the moment.

I only know two, one in his seventies and a seven year old but I'm in Ireland don't think it's quite as popular here

Loads of Leos under 3 round here. along with Theo and Noahs it seems to be the most popular. other than that i don't know any kids of the rest of the top ten names. sometimes it's just weird breakdown of where kids are based

I personally know a ten year old Leo, a 12 year old Leo in another country, a 39 year old Leo, a 71 year old Leo, an 80 year old Leo and I have heard of another baby Leo who is a friend of a friend..

I have a primary aged Leo 🥰 only know one other from church who is older. Know a few Theos though!
