Talking specifically about the spelling Madeline not Madeleine, how would you pronounce Madeline?

I can't help but think of the song from the cartoon so Mad-eh-line with the eh like egg and line like washing line.

Although the only Madeline I know pronounces it Madeh lin

I would probably just ask because I've met a fair few Madelines that pronounce it Madeleen (in Ireland) so between that, Madelyn and Madeline to rhyme with line I just wouldn't know
