Are these all names in their own right to you? And do you have a personal preference among the three? Thanks

They’re all good. I think joey is more of a standalone name (no reason!). Joseph is a great long name with Joe as a shortening. Nice to be able to choose. Wouldn’t go with Joe as a full name - it seems a bit short. Also, not logical, just my feeling.

No. Joseph is the name. The others are abbreviated versions. Give them the full name and let them choose as an adult.
