Triplets

Tedtomtim · 17/06/2024 14:01

DH and I are expecting triplets after many rounds of IVF and a lot of patience.
Babies are two girls and a boy. I’d say our naming style is simple and classic, our ideas right now are

  • Anna
  • Emma
  • Lucy
  • Grace
  • Sophie
  • Eve
  • James
  • Harry
  • Jack
  • Adam
  • Liam
  • Zach

My favourite combination is Emma, Harry & Sophie, DH likes Anna, Emma & Jack

Thoughts?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Laura isn’t dated! There’s a Laura at my children’s primary school. And tbh it’s refreshing compared to Sophie/Eve.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 17/06/2024 19:40

Congratulations and good luck!

Emma, Alice and William? (or James)

Love Emma Sophie and Jack or Harry

TupperwareHoarder · 17/06/2024 19:31

Anna, Emma and James

Tedtomtim · 17/06/2024 19:10

Thank you everyone.

We also live the name Laura but worry it’s a little dated?
Emma is definitely set in stone.

I like Emma, Laura and James too, or even Jack

Emma, Lucy and Jack

FayCarew · 17/06/2024 17:51

I know 2 sets of sisters called Anna and Emma. I don't think the names are too similar but they do have the same vibe.

Congratulations @Tedtomtim 👧👦👧

Eve and Anna are two of my favourite girls names and have been for years. It’s Eva and Evie which are most used rather than Eve. None of the boys names are my taste but I’d pick James from your list.

In contrast - I have a 19 year old Eva. She has only ever met 2 others in her entire life yet knows loads of Eves and Evies. 3 Eves + 2 Evies in her school year, she is the only Eva.

Greengrapeofhome · 17/06/2024 17:10

I would pick Anna, Sophie and James. I think Anna and Emma are too samey

MotherofWhippets81 · 17/06/2024 17:08

I went to school a long time ago with triplets Laura, Victoria and James and I still think those are a lovely combination.

Beautifulbythebay · 17/06/2024 17:06

Oh
Blooming

And heck for the boy...

AngelDelightButNotStrawberry · 17/06/2024 17:02

I like Emma and Anna and Zach and Adam.

Every other girl is an Evie, so I wouldn’t choose Eve and Sophie is so popular. They’ll just be Sophie ‘lastname ’.

GreyhoundGal1 · 17/06/2024 16:18

Congratulations! Agree with the others that Emma and Anna are just a bit too similar.

I think I would pick:
Emma Grace
Sophie Eve
Adam James

All 2 syllable first names but with different beginning and ending sounds, and all one syllable middle names. Feels neat ha. But I think any combination of your names would be lovely.

stressedespresso · 17/06/2024 16:10

How exciting!! Anna, Emma & James would be my favourite combination

mathanxiety · 17/06/2024 16:07

Also, Anna, Lucy, and James.

mathanxiety · 17/06/2024 16:06

Emma, Lucy, and James
Emma, Sophie, and Jack
Emma, Grace, and Harry (I'd put Henry on the BC though)

VibeOnWithMyGalPals · 17/06/2024 15:54

I know you didn’t ask for any other suggestions, but how about Noah?

Of the girls, I would choose Emma and Sophie

YouWouldntKnowWhatIMean · 17/06/2024 15:51

I really like Adam and think it's under-used. I'd go for Adam, Emma and Lucy from your list. But all lovely names. Congratulations!

DrLucyVanPelt · 17/06/2024 15:50

My pick would be Emma, Sophie & Jack.

Lovely classic names, match but don't sound similar and different initials.

maw1681 · 17/06/2024 15:46

I think Anna and Emma are a bit too similar sounding.
I do love the name Emma though

Firsttimebabymummy · 17/06/2024 15:41

Weallnamechangesometimes · 17/06/2024 14:43

I agree Emma and Anna don't sit well together.

Emma is on both list so that's one sorted, I wouldn't do another e name so eve out.

I like Sophie, Emma and James

Emma Grace
James Harry
sophie Anna

Just reading back and yes this!!

Firsttimebabymummy · 17/06/2024 15:40

Massive congratulations!! Both are lovely but I prefer yours. Anna and Emma are too similar IMO.

I'd change Jack to James

Emma, Sophie and James <3

familyissues12345 · 17/06/2024 15:32
