Saskia or Paloma

Hi :)

Due with a baby girl this August and struggling to decide between Saskia and Paloma…

I have always loved Saskia but many family and friends aren’t as in love with it. It’s still my favourite as looking for something less common and beautiful for a girl.

Thoughts on which to go with?

Saskia is much nicer than Paloma. I think it's lovely and much nicer than Sienna

Saskia. I know quite a few, though, of different ages, so maybe it’s becoming popular.

Saskia

Live Saskia, I think it's pretty an sassy and would vote for that. Paloma is nice too, love the meaning, this isn't a very serious reason against but it reminds me a bit of Pamela.

Neither is a great option. Sienna?

I prefer Saskia, but seriously - what’s it got to do with your family and friends? This is why many people don’t share their name choices before the baby arrives because so many people like to chip in with their negative opinions. You baby, your choice!

I think you should go with the name you love. I am half Dutch and have a Saskia. No one else wanted me to call her that but 28 years on I am still happy with her name and so is she!

Saskia is beautiful!
