Full disclosure: the babies we are naming are hens, not humans, so no need to worry about school bullying or job applications

Obviously Henrietta is on the list, open to any and all suggestions

My full name and my daughters and dog all feature many times Grin

The dogs name isn't Araminta but it would have been if she was white (minty doesn't really work with a black dog).

I clearly follow a naming theme. Grin

@Timeturnerplease Don't worry, I am sure no one thinks you are pretentious. Many of these names are beautiful and stylish. All of the names on my girl's shortlist is here. I'm not posh at all either!

DD2 has one of these names, DNiece has another and a friend’s daughter is a Jemima. I also have an Arabella, a Beatrix and a Cressida in my class this year.

We do live in a lovely village in a wealthy area of the SE but still, we are definitely not posh! I am a primary school teacher and DH is an ex firefighter turned tradesman. DSis is a PA and DBIL is a carpenter. Most parents of children at my school, including parents of the above named children, are generally pretty average people. I feel a bit odd now, wondering if everyone thinks we have given DDs (both have similar names) pretentious names…

Names that are truly posh to me are: Araminta, Bunty, Persephone, Wilhelmina etc.

These names are fabulous! Threads like this one affirm my ❤️ for MN 😊

I think my suggestions have all been made, have we had Binky and Dido?

Oh we have had many Binkys, I didn't read assiduously enough. I learnt the name from Made In Chelsea. What on earth is it usually short for?
