Louis, Franky or Max

2 week old gorgeous baby boy with no name yet!

We've narrowed it down to Louis, Franky and Max. Franky would be Francis on birth certificate.

Which do you prefer?

Francis nn Frankie.
Not Franky it looks like wanky.

blackoverbillsmothers · 18/05/2024 15:35

Louis - by a mile. Really like the name.

PurpleReindeer2 · 18/05/2024 15:21

Louis Francis goes well together

Daffyyellow · 18/05/2024 15:06

Max

Hulanula · 18/05/2024 14:33

Louis is my favourite, but the others are nice.
There are 3 Frankie’s in my DC’s reception class though! I think it is on trend.

whyhavetheygotsomany · 18/05/2024 14:24

Louis by miles

Librarybooker · 18/05/2024 12:23

Francis is our DCs middle name. Not chosen as such, it was family tradition for eldest child and we’d have used Frances if we’d had a girl. My DHs PhD supervisor was Frank, interestingly it was his middle name shortened to Francis

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 18/05/2024 12:15

I love Louis.

PrettyFlyforaMaiTai · 18/05/2024 11:59

Louis is lovely. I would choose Louis Maximilian.

Notatthemoment · 18/05/2024 08:54

Max or Louis are both nice

JacketPotatoFoodOfTheGods · 18/05/2024 08:21

I'd go Francesco rather than Francis
All 3 names are fab.
Frankie is prob most unusual.

CharlieBoo · 18/05/2024 08:05

Louis

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 18/05/2024 03:06

Sorry to put a spanner in the works but of the 3, definitely Max! 🤣 Young boys seem to love that name - I don’t know if it’s the punchy X sound or that there seem to be a lot of characters in kids TV and books named Max? Either way, it’ll likely be the one your DS will like the most.

(Plus Louis has spelling and pronunciation issues and Franky/Frankie is trendy and also pretty popular for girls, which he might not appreciate if there is one in his class).

ZiggyZowie · 17/05/2024 23:01

They're all awful

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 17/05/2024 22:21

Our cat is Louie. I teach a Frank who is lovely, and a Franky who is also lovely - but nickname for Francesca.

Am805463 · 17/05/2024 22:19

Louis is much nicer than Frankie.

Hopealong · 17/05/2024 22:17

Love Louis and Max and would depend on which one went better with surname

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 17/05/2024 21:35

i would rank as follows:
Louis (love)
Max
Franky

polkadotpixie · 17/05/2024 21:31

Max or Louis

shoopshoopdedoo · 17/05/2024 20:47

Love Frank, with Francis as a full name. Not so keen on Frankie - although it’s cute for a little boy, and could become Frank as he gets older.

Really like Max.

i’ve personally never liked Louis but I know lots of people do!

flowerpop · 17/05/2024 20:13

thanks all, really good to get cross section of opinions!! veering towards louis now, partner more towards frankie, may have to flip a coin!

I like Louis. Max is ok. I’m not keen on Franky or Francis at all.

lenalemonade · 17/05/2024 19:54

Congratulations .
I love Louis ❤️but I am a wee bit biased as my lovely second born is Louis .
Having said that I have a brother and an uncle called Frankie and Frank who are also great guys 😁

Fontainebleau007 · 17/05/2024 19:54

Max or Frankie with an ie (to me personally Franky looks odd sorry!)

RogueFemale · 17/05/2024 19:53

Francis best by far (and then he can be Francis instead of Frankie if he hates Frankie).
