I really like this name for a boy but the only Dougray I’ve ever encountered is Dougray Scott. Would that put you off? I don’t like Douglas, and Dougal doesn’t fit with my surname.

It's the actor's stage name. It looks a bit made up, even though it is the actor's middle name. It sounds a bit like duggery.

I know a bloke from Glenrothes who went to school with Dougray Scott and says, 'He wasnae fucking 'Dougray' at the school. He'd have got his arsed kicked'. I think it's actually his middle name. Glenrothes is quite rough.

He's the only one I know as well.
