I created a thread the other day asking for opinions on 10/12 names however I don't really love any of them. I would like some inspiration so what are your sons names?
(Only share is you're happy of course) :)

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My son has one of these names on my list ( I tend to like very classic names that don’t usually give away age or social background for the childs sake - this inevitably means the names are often fairly popular though):

Edward
James
Alexander
William
Thomas
Samuel
Max
Michael
Nathaniel
Owen

I have two from this list - late teen and young adult and the names have served them well at every stage so far

Is anyone going to put the real names of their children on here? Confused

I wouldn't.

Neither would I. I have 3 sons and several boy GCs, no way would I put their real names on here.

ExplosionsOfColour · 13/05/2024 21:27

All of these were on my not-so-short list for ds:

James

August
Emile
Seth
Leo
Jago
Silas
Khalil
Ambrose
Theodore

I've got daughters, but if I'd have had sons they'd have been George, Stephen and Nathaniel.

Berlinlover · 13/05/2024 20:52

I don’t have children but if I had a son I would have called him Alexander.

WindowViper · 13/05/2024 20:50

NotALightPacker · 13/05/2024 20:45

We wanted names that were classic, known enough but not too popular. Our list was

Edmund
Edward
Sebastian
Joel
Benedict
Arthur
Dominic

We chose two of them and our son is now university age. Both have proven to be not too popular but sufficiently well known not to need spelling out.

TheBirdintheCave · 13/05/2024 20:45

My son is Gilbert :)

mumofds's · 13/05/2024 20:44

scaredofff · 13/05/2024 20:41

My sons name is Lewis

DramaAlpaca · 13/05/2024 20:40

I have three boys but I won't post their names.

If I'd had a fourth boy (ain't happening, too old now!) it would probably have been Daniel or Finn.

Actually, it'd have been Daniel. I almost forgot I used Finn on the dog.

I tend to like classic names, usually ones that don't shorten easily.
