Opinions on Rafferty?

What are your thoughts on Rafferty?

I like the nickname options that come with it, and think it ages better than them eg Raffy, Raff etc.

I quite like Rafferty and agree the nn options are great - Rafe / Raffy. It does feel a bit trendy middle class, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing

I think there's something naff about it, as a first name that is. It's a common enough surname and fine as such. It sounds like someone trying to be middle class, but failing, a bit comedic almost.

I don't think the nick name options are great either. Raff is 'riff raff' also rhyming with naff.
