Originally going to be called Jim after my granddad, but we've found out we're having a girl. Would this work?

Jewelanemone · 29/04/2024 11:56

What's the taxi driver called?

That was my first thought too!

Sunnydaysaregone · 29/04/2024 21:56

JimkAnna could work well 😊

asbestosmouth24 · 29/04/2024 21:57

please No. But what about jemma or jemmie

Tickytocky · 29/04/2024 21:57

Do it 😂😂

VeryUnlikely · 29/04/2024 21:59

I think it's a good name. Better than Polinyx or Devereaux which are trending round here

Cowhen · 29/04/2024 21:59

oakleaffy · 29/04/2024 21:43

You are just being Jimpertinent now, Cowhen! 😂

You take that back Jimmediately!

MikeRafone · 29/04/2024 21:59

Jemma, Jacinda, Jemima, Jamelia are all females versions of James

Jim Jong Un between other serious kind answers is sending me over the edge here 😂 what a thread!

That's the best one I think. This thread has made me laugh so thats something.

silverbubbles · 29/04/2024 22:01

Jimilla

Redbone · 29/04/2024 22:03

Please don’t!

Greeneyegirl · 29/04/2024 22:06

Pretty sure James is higher up the rankings for girls than boys now so just do James

SharedAccountWithMySister · 29/04/2024 22:13

Rosie, after the two lovable ragdolls? That way it’s connected to Jim.

GoldenOreosAreAnOkCustardCreamSubstitute · 29/04/2024 22:17

Jaime

LadyShimura · 29/04/2024 22:18

Call the baby Gia. Giacomo is Italian version of James.

ForeverDelayedEpiphany · 29/04/2024 22:19

OP, have you ever thought that you might say: "Have you put your Jimmy Jams on Jimberly?' at bedtime?

Or, "Do you fancy some Jimmy Jam with the butter in your sandwich, little Jimberly JimJam?"

😬

ForeverDelayedEpiphany · 29/04/2024 22:21

VeryUnlikely · 29/04/2024 21:59

I think it's a good name. Better than Polinyx or Devereaux which are trending round here

"Polinyx"?! Hahaha ha. You could certainly have that as an alternative, possibly to "Polyfilla"

Pipsquiggle · 29/04/2024 22:23

Please @Netruscan just no. It's awful

WimbyAce · 29/04/2024 22:27

Toddlerteaplease · 29/04/2024 11:37

Hilarious, I knew a baby through work called Jimbob. We laughed a lot. (Out of sight and hearing of the parents)

Guessing they were fans of the Waltons. Goodnight Jim Bob!

WimbyAce · 29/04/2024 22:31

Mycatsmudge · 29/04/2024 12:17

Sounds like those combined house names where the owners are Jim and Kimberley like Casa Bevron😁

Ah memories!

WimbyAce · 29/04/2024 22:32

Hartleyhare1206 · 29/04/2024 20:24

Maybe Jimmul? Then if you’re struggling for a middle name; you could consider Fixit🤔😄

This is brilliant 🤣

WhatNext24 · 29/04/2024 22:33

I'm really open minded but Jimberley is bonkers, sorry OP 😂

I would go for James as a middle name and give her a more conventional first
name. Ella James, Lily James, etc.

Toddlerteaplease · 29/04/2024 22:34

@WimbyAce I think he was named after his two grandfathers. The parents weren't the sharpest tools in the shed.
