Originally going to be called Jim after my granddad, but we've found out we're having a girl. Would this work?

Another lovely way to make a male name a bit more feminine is to hyphenate with something pretty. I’m thinking of something like “Jim-Pansy.”

If you wanted a little fun with the spelling you could try that as Jim- Panzee which would be a lovely double reference if there’s a family love of primates.

I think the OP might have seen the Melissa McCarthy movie 'The Boss'.In the movie a man called Jim is talking to someone but doesn't want to give his real name, he panics and says his name is Jimberly. To be fair it's a great name 😄
