HELP - can’t think of a name!!!

We are due a girl in September. And simply cannot find a name we “LOVE”, so I need the help of the hive mind.

We want an “ee” ending, like Bonnie or Marnie, but want something more unique/different. Not afraid of unisex names like Allie or Marley, either. Please help me brainstorm 😢

That’s actually a “potential” for us, as it was my Nan’s name. It’s just starting to become verrry popular and I feel like that’s stopping me. Our eldest is Teddy and when we had him, the name wasn’t common near us at all. Now there’s a Teddy everywhere we go 😂 to be expected, but I can see Stevie doing the same

This is interesting, why do you say Stevie is going to become popular? It's not a name I hear mentioned often at all, and it was ranked 438 in 2021. If you love it, I'd say go for it! Or for a variation on it, what about Sylvie?

Not ee names but similar vibes to your list maybe? Juno or Lucas.

Ee names:
Birdie
Queenie
Mani
Betty

One of my friends named her baby Storie, it’s unusual and rare, haven’t heard of it before her but it’s a pretty name too.

Fetalfractionquestion · 17/04/2024 18:11

Others on I like are:

Paloma (strays from the eeee ending 😂 but for some reason keep coming to it)
Suki
Saffie
Tully
Allie
Hattie

I’m not falling in love with anything though. I think my hormones are all over the place. Maybe I’ll see her face and just “know”?

I like the suggestion above of Brodie. It’s cute on a girl.

You could do Aurora, nn Rorie
Coralie, nn Corie
Persephone, nn Sephie

We have a Zephyr, nn Zephy. He’s a boy but it’s a unisex name. Zephyr is a springtime wind so it’s suitable for babies born in the spring :)

I love Leonie too - one of my favourite names and so underused. I have a friend who spells it Laonie to get the LAY-o-nee pronunciation.

Other ideas on that theme -

Lorelei
Eleri (e- LAIR- ri)
Lowri
Romilly
Coralie
