Stella and Cleo are gorgeous.

Juno and Olive arent nearly so nice.

I only know one Giovi (pronounced Jovi and short for Giovanna). Jovi sounds a bit made up.

DuchessOfSausage · 16/04/2024 16:44

It's nice @IamaRevenant

@IamaRevenant , Arran or Jocelyn?
I know one Jocelyn but can't remember if she's Josceline, Jocelyn or something else. (I think the parents wanted Joss as a 'nn')
I know lots of Arrans but the spellings vary (Aaron, Aran etc).

Maybe too outing but I'm a Jocelyn. The first other one I met was Sir Jocelyn 😆

Stella or Cleo

If you like Juni but not too sure on it.. how about Joni? I just met a gorgeous little girl called this (not sure on spelling I'm just assuming) and I thought it was a breath of fresh air 🥰

sarahsunny · 15/04/2024 17:59

I know one Juno. Love the name!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/04/2024 17:53

I love Cleo and Jovi.
Other suggestions. Lula. Nova. Indie. Rosa. Sadie. Tess. Eden. Thea. Fern

resm · 15/04/2024 17:50

I love Stella from your list and, as previously suggested, Estelle. Celeste has a similar kind of feel to me.

cheapskatemum · 15/04/2024 17:37

I'm not a fan of Stella, I always think of the lager. From your list I like Juno and Cleo. Olive reminds me of Popeye's partner, Olive Oyl, or Olive from the TV comedy On the Buses.

DuchessOfSausage · 15/04/2024 17:36
  1. Stella
  2. Cleo
  3. Olive Olivia
  4. Juno
Junie Jovi
GreyhoundGal1 · 15/04/2024 17:25

I love Stella and Cleo, very nice names.

SausageRoll2020 · 15/04/2024 16:33

I personally think Estelle is nicer than Stella which always just makes me think of the lager.
Also, I hear Stella and my brain starts singing 🎶 Sheila goes out with her mate Stella, gets poured all over her fella ... 🎶

Grapesandcheesetwo · 15/04/2024 16:31

I love absolutely love Junia (although I couldn't persuade my husband as it sounds like junior) or June is another similar option.
Hero or Hazel as other options?

Stella is one of my favourite names - feminine and pretty yet strong and sassy! I also love the meaning.
I also love Olive.

Moreteaandchocolate · 15/04/2024 14:54

Stella is my favourite. I also really like Cleo. Juno / Juni are quite nice but quite trendy sounding to me, if that’s what you’re after?
Im personally less keen on Olive (oil) and Jovi (Jon Bon).

Ideas -
Romy
Wren
Eden
Lyra
Seren
Sasha
Mila
Astrid
Mara
Priya
Rhia
Talia
Sorcha
Taryn
Robyn
Amaya
Sage

I think since the film? I know three kids called Juno and am in Bristol. It's always suggested on this board too!

I actually reread your post and love Junie, that with full name Juno would be lovely!

Thanks for your reply!
it must have really taken off in other areas then! 😊
I do like the nickname Junie, just don’t want to fall into the trap of liking the nickname more than the name!
