Baby boy due soon and after a lot of discussion we think we’ve narrowed it down to a top two.

Which would you go for - Henry or Ethan?

Middle name will be Jacob (family name).

Big sister is Isabel.

We love William (but can’t use with our surname) and also liked Sebastian (but worried about “Belle & Sebastian” references!) and Ralph, but not sure if it’s “the name”.

Thanks in advance!

Ethan. It is actually an old name, just not as well used in the past. I'm not keen on Henry sorry.

Thank you all so far! Looks like Henry is winning…

I should say we’re not too overly fussed about popularity (as you can probably tell from our daughter’s name). Just like both names!

Definitely Henry. Huge numbers of Ethans

Sunnnybunny72 · 13/04/2024 18:57

Not Ethan.

Henry will always be a classic name.

Definitely Henry. Ethan seems quite common.

I mean popular. I wasn't making a snobby comment.

I prefer Ethan

Henry goes perfectly with Isabel in my opinion- Ethan is nice too but has a different, less classic vibe to me.

MrsTerryPratchett · 13/04/2024 18:37

Henry. Ethan is really common where we are.

I voted Henry. I love Ralph though!
