I met a girl on the beach when I was about 7 and we became best of friends for the day. We didn't speak the same language, she was greek. Her name was Cassiora. I never met her again.

I have looked it up and it's not a 'real' name but I love it. What are your thoughts?

thanks for the feedback. There is a Cassie in the family so I was thinking nn Cory.

I don't love the sound (kind of starts decisively and fizzles out) but the story is lovely and it's fine as a name!

If I were you I might use it is a middle name for a girl in tribute to childhood innocence, happy memories, holidays, sunshine, friendship, all those lovely things

It’s a believable name so you’d get away with it. She’d probably end up being Cassie though so why not co with Cassia?
Cassia is a lovely name.

Prefer Cassia also. Cassiopeia nn Cassia.

Calista is lovely also.

I really don't like it. Sounds like a medication!

Too fussy. Reminds me of Kia ora.

I prefer Cassia personally- but I prefer shorter, simpler names.
