Easy to spell Irish boy names!

As the title says. DH is Irish, I am English. Our daughter has a subtle Irish name which is easily spelt and pronounced. Would really like to follow the same pattern but we are really struggling.
We both like Finley but close friends sons name so cannot use it.
Open to suggestions.

I think Art fits the bill - ancient Irish name and simplest spelling possible.

Otherwise:

Enda

All pronounced as written.

I’d actually disagree on Seamus - I have a friend Seamus in London and he gets “see-mus” allllll the time. It might be fairly well known amongst English people but people with international backgrounds (of which there are many in London) don’t get it at all.

I wouldn't say Finley is Irish anyway - more American.

Cillian - should be very recognizable now with Cillian Murphy

Liam, Cathal, Cian, Conor, Fionn/ Finn, Lorcan

Tadhg - I have family in SE England who have used this name and said there are are a few without Irish heritage in the school.

I don’t mean to cause offence with the Irish names spellings, they’re beautiful and I love them all. But from someone whose name has been mispronounced and spelt wrong their whole life I want to try and avoid that. It’s very frustrating!

Especially at school and when the new registers come round every term or you get a supply teacher who doesn’t know you.

By subtle I mean not obviously Irish. We live in the south of England and think and obvious Irish name (mainly the spelling) would cause a lifetime of mispronunciation.

I loved Aoife but we didn’t go with it for the above reasons.

And yet people live in England with ‘obviously Irish’ names and give their children obviously Irish names all the time, me included, and no undue trouble is caused to anyone. English monoglots can actually get their tongues around Aoife, Caoimhe, Tadhg and Méabh perfectly well.

Im Irish I’m the UK. My dh is British.
our boy had a very Irish name with all the vowels and fadas. I’m love it and am proud of it. Will people mispronounce it? Yes. Will they learn how to say it? Also yes.
I don’t feel the need to phase out beautiful names to make it easier for people who haven’t heard them before.

I think Conor would get Connor and Ciaran would get Kieran if living in England, often enough to get annoying (even though I know Ciaran is pronounced differently)
