One letter off from being Asda. Sorry.. I don't want to be named after a supermarket.

Easterness · 13/02/2024 17:04

I had an Aunt Ada. She was a lovely old lady. So I associate it with good things

MadamVastra · 13/02/2024 17:00

I would call her Adelaide and Ada for short

VoleChomper · 13/02/2024 16:59

We all have different perceptions of beauty. For me Ada is the name of a downtrodden charwoman from the 1940s.

Onelife2024 · 13/02/2024 16:57

I love it. Simple, pretty, good for all ages.

fightingthedogforadonut · 13/02/2024 16:55

I'm a bit sick of all the trend for names like Ada/Ida/Ava tbh. Ada is a perfectly pleasant name but every second kid I encounter these days seems to be named something similar....

GoodVibesHere · 13/02/2024 16:49

Bit boring

Swipernoswipingg · 13/02/2024 16:41

It’s okay. A little old timey though

Namechangetohidemyevilness · 13/02/2024 16:41

it is lovely

UngratefulOldCabbage · 13/02/2024 16:40

My favourite girls name

SquirrelsAssemble · 13/02/2024 16:40

I know one Ada. I like it.

I think it falls into the category of old lady names (Iris, Betty etc) which I love.

Moosely · 13/02/2024 16:36

To me it just blends into the Ava, Eva, Isla names..basically short names ending in ‘a’ which seem to be the trend now. But nothing wrong with it!

Dapbag · 13/02/2024 15:58

It's beautiful. I had an aunt Ada and she was the most lovely, warm and fun person.

Garman · 13/02/2024 15:52

I love it, I only know one and it’s such a lovely name. Depends on surname too though I guess.
