What do you think? Is it Ouch cool, or bridge-player with her specs 'round her neck.

I'm just wondering, cos I have little to think about, whether or not the new bbc programme make it chavy? Or, would the people who take their inspiration from tv not touch a name like Nancy. I think it's quite cool; in a Lois/Margot kind of way.

It's very American. I know lots of Nancy's over here although most are my age. I think it could be quite a cook name.

I also like Pansy. I seriously thought about Pansy when I was pg with dc1. I was told I was mad. Still like it though. And, although I don't like Queenie, I nearly posted to defend it on the old lady thread the other day.

I also like Gaylord. No, that bit was a joke.

I'd forgotten about the Nancy Drew re-launch. Do you think there will be some baby Nancys soon. Is it the new Edith? Or is it more like the new Ruby?

The best girl name I've heard on here - far cooler than the usual ones. It was also my Nana's name, but she was not an average granny.
