Down to final 2 girls name combinations....

  1. Sofia Matilda
  2. Summer
Struggling with middle name for Summer, as Summer Matilda seems a bit clunky. Any ideas for a middle name for Summer welcome, preferably something Spanish/Greek.

I personally love Sofia Matilda best, so would choose that.

Summer also nice, though, and less commonly used. I think Summer Matilda sounds nice. Other ideas -

Not keen on Summer and Sofia/Sophia is overused. Anything Matilda is going to be a mouthful.

@BoleynMemories13 Thank you. I tend to call my children by their first and middle name, I just don't double barrel them. My view is there's no point giving middle name if you don't use it.
Sofia Matilda seemed to roll of the tongue better I thought. But it's really interesting for you to say Summer Matilda sounds better. I wanted to use the Spanish spelling of Sofia, as we have a holiday home there.

I actually think Sofia Matilda is far more of a mouthful than Summer Matilda as they're both 3 syllables long.

I prefer the spelling Sophia anyway so my vote goes for Summer Matilda. Or Sophie Matilda? That goes better than Sofia imo.

Or what about Matilda as a given name? Matilda Summer would be nice. Keeps the m's in both names further apart if that's what your're worried about with the flow of Summer Matilda?
