What are your thoughts of the name Serafina/Seraphina?
I prefer the version with an f, but then I'm more drawn to Spanish/Italian spellings of names.
It means 'ardent fiery ones' and is one of the highest angels in the bible.
Something really appeals to me about it.
Do you think it would be likely to be shortened?
What would you think if you met a baby Serafina/Seraphina?
Thank you.

In the UK? Undoubtedly.

It's a nice name. Ear catching and dramatic. I was wondering why it gave me witchy vibes but have just remembered a witch called Serafina (a beautiful witch) in Philip Pullman's Northern Lights.
