Would love some suggestions on German boys names that work well in English. I generally like short and snappy over long and flowing but open to anything.

Felix
Otto
Stefan
Axel

No idea if they're popular in Germany but they are around in the UK and really nice names.

NameChange30 · 28/01/2024 16:32

Depends how obviously German you want, but these names work:
Adam
Christoph (Chris)
Felix
Gregor (Greg)
Jonas / Jonah
Leo
Levi
Max
Noah
Otto
Theo

If you look at the latest top boys' names in Germany there are a lot of names that are popular/common in the UK.

I love Johann (pronounced yo-han). It’s just John in German but I think sounds so cute in English.

Trez1510 · 28/01/2024 16:26

Lukas is the only one that springs to mind.
