Lara, Cassia or something else

Expecting a baby girl next month, love Lara as a name and Cassia is also up there, but not 100% sure.
We also like
India
Anna
Zara
Sierra

DH isn't sold on Lara as he can't imagine a blonde Lara - we are both blonde with blonde parents the likelihood of a blonde baby is very high!
Sierra makes him think of a car
Anna is bland in his mind

The others he's just not sold on - so any ideas?

Love Lara! I think it's fine on whatever hair colour. Or how about Lana?

Lara's Russian, so seems fine for a blonde.

Larissa might be an option.

Lara is v nicebut so many similar names right now - Lara/lola/lena/luna

India - if he can’t imagine a blonde Lara how is a blonde India going to work!? Also it’s v colonial if it’s not part of your family heritage

Anna - nice but not exciting

Zara - it’s quite nice. Very of the moment

Lara is great, was my top name but ended up with my second favourite due to the middle name we wanted .

If I had another girl I'd definitely use it

Lara is beautiful and I think of Lara as blonde and blue eyed (maybe because I knew one at school).

I wanted Lara but DP wasn’t keen so have a Louisa if that’s any help. I also loved Serena and Marianne.

Love Cassia, Sierra and Lara.

I see a lot of the reference to Sierra being about the car, but then there is the Toyota Sienna and yet that's not something that is associated with that much more popular version. I personally really like Sierra, as long as you're not set on Leona or something similar as a middle name.

Oh, I see. Honestly, it wouldn't even cross my mind to link someone called Lara with Lara Croft.

I love Lara, it's one of my favourite names. I don't get the hair colour thing? Why would a Lara have a particular colour hair? I know three and they're all blonde but that doesn't mean I can't imagine a brunette one.

I like all the names on the list except Sierra.

Lara and Zara are my favourites
Cassia and India after that
Anna less so - it's a lovely, classic name but I think your others are more interesting.
Sierra is okay but I'm not keen.

I know two, one blonde and one brunette. I’ve never really associated it with a particular hair colour, though there are other names I do.

I think Cassia is likely to be mispronounced. My instinct would be to say Cassie-uh but I've heard it said Kasha as well. Cassandra might be an alternative.

Lara is fine as long as you're OK with the Croft association. The worst that's likely to happen is people call her Laura - but that can be said for a lot of names that are similar to other names.
