Oh god. The shame of finding myself on this section but GIVE ME BOYS' NAMES PLEASE

I am so stuck. I have girls' names galore, please give me nice slightly arty boys' names that won't get hugely popular in a year or two

Congratulations! I'll never have a son so you are very welcome to 'my' names, F&Z, if you like any of them.

I love Hugo (nephew is Hugo - gorgeous boy).
I also seriously considered Gil and Leon.

A friend's son is called Eden, which I like (also the child can shorten to Ed if he grows up to hate it!).

Good luck and I hope you find the perfect name.

we can't really have an 'en' or 'on' ending name, except for, apparently, Lucien (surname issues)

Arlo is growing on me. I do feel a bit sorry for his brother Ackney though - but at least he is easily spotted.

What about Auden, as in WH Auden, the stop all the clocks geezer. NOw that's arty.

Or Brendan? Has some of the sound of Arden, but none of the artyness. I like Brendan, it's the Brandons, Braidens etc that make me wince.

I love old man names, but not the obvious ones. Arthur, nah, too 'of the moment'. I love Victor, Gilbert, Wilfred..

And in a less daring way, I love Richie for being a classic alternative to Archie, and for the hundreth time, would somebody somewhere please name their child Victor? What is wrong wiht you all, I would call my son Victor if I hadn't already named him?
